Alex Chiasson played a more obscure, yet still useful, role with the Washington Capitals last year when they won the Stanley Cup Rings. Unfortunately, his contract didn’t get renews by the Caps and he ended up signing with the Edmonton Oilers.
Last October 25th marked the first time he played against his old team and, even though they are no longer playing on the same side, we can see that the bonds created during tha playoff run are important.
Before the game he was invited in the Capitals’ dressing room where he was given his ring and where he had the chance to give a little speech. Here’s the tweet published but the Caps that relates the event.
