The 1959 Stanley Cup Final was won for a fourth straight time by the defending champion Montreal Canadiens over the Toronto Maple Leafs. Montreal won its 9th Stanley Cup in its ninth consecutive appearance in the Final series. It was Toronto’s first appearance since 1951 when they won their 4th cup.
